In short

Every Razed guide here starts from a player's question and ends with a fact pass against Razed's own documents. Reviews are scored on six weighted criteria, from licence to support, and a score appears only when every criterion is backed by a document.

  • Six criteria, fixed weights
  • Documents, not impressions
  • Three dates per page

Who Builds and Scores These Guides

Our casino review methodology has one owner. Mark Johnson plans each Razed guide, writes it, runs the fact pass and decides whether a criterion can be scored at all. Keeping the whole chain in one pair of hands means the same standard applies to the bonus guide, the verification guide and everything in between.

Mark Johnson

Casino Expert

Mark applies the method on this page to every Razed guide we publish. He sets the question a page has to answer, lists the documents that settle it and signs off the final version only after each claim has been traced back to its source.

From a Player's Question to a Published Page

No guide starts with a template. It starts with something an Australian player actually wants to know about Razed, and each later step exists to make the answer more reliable.

  1. Step 1

    Pin down the player's question

We phrase the topic the way a player would type it, for example how long free spins last or which documents unlock a withdrawal. Everything that does not help answer that question stays off the page.

  2. Step 2

    Build the sources list

Before writing a word, we list the documents that can settle the question: the help centre article, the general bonus terms, the terms of the current offer, the T&C, the Responsible Gambling page, the Anjouan register entry for ALSI-132405034-FI3 or a studio's published RTP.

  3. Step 3

Write the draft in plain words

The draft answers the question first and explains the rule behind it second. Legal phrasing is translated into everyday Australian English, and money figures set by Razed in US dollars are described as rules rather than converted.

  4. Step 4

    Run the fact pass

Each sentence that states a number, a limit or a rule is matched against a line in the sources list. A claim with no document behind it is cut, however likely it sounds.

  5. Step 5

    Publish with three dates

The page goes live with a Published date, a Last updated date and a Checked date in the byline. From that moment the clock starts on the next review.

How We Correct Mistakes

Mistakes happen in two ways: Razed changes a document after we published, or our own reading of it was wrong. Either way, the fix follows the same route. We open the current source, rewrite the affected sentences and repeat the fact pass for the whole section, not only the line that was wrong.

  • A correction to the content moves the Last updated date to the day of the fix.
  • A review that finds nothing to change moves only the Checked date.
  • If a fix touches a scored criterion, that criterion is scored again from the new document.

If our summary and a Razed page ever disagree, follow Razed's page. Then look at our Checked date to see how old our version is.

Six Criteria and Their Weights

Each criterion is scored out of 10 from documents alone. The weights reflect how much each area affects a player's money and safety, and they add up to 100%.

Licence and operator - 20%

Full marks need a named operator and a licence number that match a public register entry. For Razed that means Wild Technology Ltd and the Anjouan licence ALSI-132405034-FI3.

Bonus terms - 20%

We reward terms that state wagering, expiry, maximum bet and game contribution in writing. Razed's 40x, 7-day window and RTP-based contribution scale are examples of rules a player can read before claiming.

Cashier and payouts - 20%

Top marks go to published withdrawal rules: where minimums and limits are shown, which method a payout returns to and when documents are needed. The help centre's note that crypto withdrawals have no maximum is the kind of detail we look for.

Fairness and RTP information - 15%

We check that each game shows its RTP, that results come from the studio's own RNG and that outside testing is described. Studio figures, such as 96.48% for Sweet Bonanza, are quoted with a pointer to the game's info screen, which shows the version on offer.

Responsible gambling tools - 15%

Full marks need tools a player can set without asking anyone, clear cooling-off rules and a route to self-exclusion. Loss and wager limits, Take a Break and self-exclusion from 24 hours up to forever all count here.

Support - 10%

We score the channels and hours a casino publishes and whether the help centre answers common questions on its own. Razed lists a 24/7 live chat, which also handles self-exclusion and 2FA recovery.

Razed review methodology: six criteria and their weights
Three criteria carry 20% each, two carry 15% and support carries 10%, for a total of 100%.

How the overall score is worked out

Each criterion first gets a score out of 10. We then multiply that score by the criterion's weight expressed as points out of 10, so 20% counts as 2, 15% as 1.5 and 10% as 1. The six results are added up and the total is divided by 10, which gives an overall score out of 10.

A made-up example shows the maths: a site scoring 8 on every criterion except support, where it scores 6, gets (8 x 2 + 8 x 2 + 8 x 2 + 8 x 1.5 + 8 x 1.5 + 6 x 1) / 10 = 7.8. That example describes no real casino. A score is only shown where every criterion has been scored from documents; if even one criterion cannot be backed by a published source, no overall number appears.

Who This Methodology Is Not Built For

Our method is designed to explain one casino in depth. That focus serves most readers well, but a few needs are better met elsewhere, and it helps to know which ones before you read on.

Readers after a ranked list of many casinos

We do not rank brands against each other. If you already have Razed on your shortlist, though, our guides give you far more detail on its rules than any ranking row could.

Bettors comparing live odds

Prices on the sportsbook move by the minute, so they are outside a method based on published documents. Our pages explain the lasting sports features instead, such as Combo Boost and Early Payout.

Players hunting for a winning system

No scoring model can beat the house edge, and we do not pretend otherwise. What we can do is show which games count fully towards wagering and where each game's RTP is shown.

Anyone wanting instant promo alerts

We check offers on a schedule rather than tracking every daily race or raffle. For the prize pool on a given day, the promotions page at Razed is the quickest place to look.

Myths About Casino Review Scores

Review scores look simple, so it is easy to read more into them than they say. These four ideas come up most often.

  • Myth: A high score means you are more likely to win.

Fact: A score grades rules, transparency and tools. Your results depend on each game's RTP and volatility, which no review can change.

  • Myth: The biggest bonus always earns the best score.

Fact: Our bonus criterion rewards clear written terms on wagering, expiry, maximum bet and game contribution. Size alone earns nothing.

  • Myth: A score only means something if the reviewer timed a withdrawal.

Fact: One withdrawal shows one day, one method and one account. Published cashier rules apply to every player, which is why we score from them.

  • Myth: Once published, a score is fixed for good.

Fact: When a source document changes, the affected criterion is scored again and the Last updated date moves with it.

Where to Turn for Account Help

We can explain Razed's rules, but we cannot see your balance, a pending payout or the status of an uploaded document. Questions like those belong with the casino itself, and outside support is there if gambling stops being fun.

  • Bonus status, withdrawals, verification and limits: Razed's 24/7 live chat, which can look into your account directly.
  • Free, confidential support at any hour: Gambling Help Online.
  • A national self-exclusion register for licensed Australian wagering providers: BetStop. For a break from Razed itself, use Razed's own self-exclusion.

Gambling is for adults 18+ only. Before you play, the Responsible Gambling section of your Razed profile lets you set loss or wager limits in a few taps.

Questions About Our Review Methodology

It is the fixed set of rules a reviewer follows: which questions a page must answer, which documents count as evidence and how each criterion is weighted. Ours is written down on this page so you can judge our verdicts against it.

Because both decide what happens to your money. The licence and operator tell you who is responsible for the account, and the bonus terms decide when bonus funds become withdrawable. The cashier gets the same 20% for the same reason.

Support matters, but most of what a player needs should already be answered by published rules. We score what Razed documents about its support, such as the 24/7 live chat, rather than how one conversation happened to go.

This page explains the formula and does not carry a result. A score is shown only where every one of the six criteria has been scored from documents, and the guides on this site focus on explaining the rules themselves.

Our verdicts rest on what Razed and the studios publish: the help centre, the bonus and offer terms, the Terms and Conditions, the Responsible Gambling page and the licence register. We do not report personal deposit or withdrawal timings, because one transaction says little about the rules.

The How We Test page walks through the checking protocol step by step. This page explains how a guide is put together and how the six weighted criteria are scored.
