In short

Razed takes deposits by Visa or Mastercard debit card, Apple Pay and crypto, and fiat withdrawals return to the method you paid with. Seven of the eight Australian banks we checked publish some form of gambling block on their own websites.

Card, Apple Pay or Crypto: Picking Your Route

The Razed cashier gives you three ways to pay in from an Australian bank account or wallet. Which one fits depends less on speed and more on how you want your money to come back.

Razed's own payment pages list Visa and Mastercard cards, Apple Pay and a long list of cryptocurrencies, with Google Pay tucked inside the buy-crypto widget. For most players, Razed bank deposits mean a debit card from their everyday account, and that choice also decides the route of every fiat withdrawal that follows.

Visa or Mastercard debit card

The most familiar route: enter the card details in the cashier and the money lands in your balance. Fiat withdrawals go back to the same card, within the per-transaction limits the cashier shows.

Apple Pay

Handy on an iPhone, because you confirm with Face ID or Touch ID instead of typing card numbers. Behind it sits a card from your Apple Wallet, so your bank's card settings still decide whether the payment goes through.

Crypto

Send coins from your own wallet, or buy them inside the cashier widget with Google Pay or a card. Razed sets no maximum on crypto withdrawals, and the minimum depends on the network fee shown in the cashier.

Three things to check with your bank card first

A card deposit takes a minute, but a few details decide whether the rest of your time at Razed runs smoothly. We would check these before the first payment rather than after a withdrawal request.

  • The card is a debit card in your own name. Razed's proof of payment is a photo of the card with the name, the expiry date and the first six and last four digits visible, and the CVC fully covered.
  • You are happy for winnings to come back the same way. Fiat withdrawals go to the deposit method, so pay in with the card linked to the account you actually want the money in.
  • No gambling block or card control is switched on for that card. If one is, the payment is meant to fail, and the next section explains why that is worth respecting.

Razed lets you deposit and withdraw up to a set cumulative threshold without documents. Above it, or whenever the compliance team asks, you complete the verification page, and proof of payment goes under Level 3 - Source of Wealth. If your card shows no name, a PDF card statement or bank statement does the job instead. Our Razed verification guide lists every document and the usual reasons for a resubmission.

Using one method from start to finish is the simplest plan. If you mix a card and crypto, the card part of your balance still returns to the card, so keep track of what came in which way.

Eight Australian Banks and Their Gambling Blocks

Before you make Razed bank deposits from a particular account, it helps to know what that bank lets you control. We read each bank's own website on 1 October 2026 and noted whether it offers a gambling block, where you turn it on and what happens when you try to turn it off. A gambling block tells your bank to decline card payments to merchants registered as gambling businesses, from sports betting to online casinos. It works at the bank's end, before any money leaves your account, so it holds no matter which site or app you open. That is what makes it one of the strongest responsible gambling tools an Australian player has: the delay built into switching it off gives you time to cool down, and the decision stays with you rather than with any single operator.

Razed and Australian banks: card deposits and the gambling blocks banks offer
A Razed card deposit goes through your bank first, which is where a gambling block can stop it.

Reading the table bank by bank

CommBank lets you lock gambling transactions on eligible debit cards in the CommBank app or NetBank, and once the lock is on a 48-hour cooling-off period applies before it can come off. NAB keeps its gambling restriction in the NAB app under the card's usage controls, and switching it off takes 72 hours to update. Suncorp Bank calls its version the Gambling Lock: you turn it on in the Suncorp Bank App for a Visa Debit card, and it stays in place for 48 hours after you turn it off.

St.George places its gambling block in the Card Services menu of Internet Banking, and says a removal may take up to two business days to process. Bankwest applies its block on request through its Financial Assist team, lets you ask for removal only after at least 30 days, then adds a 48-hour cooling-off and a second confirmation from you. Bendigo Bank lets you toggle off specific merchant groups, gambling among them, in its app or e-banking, but does not publish a waiting period for switching that back.

Macquarie works the other way round on its credit cards: its help pages say transactions registered under the gambling merchant category are blocked automatically, so there is nothing to switch on. For its debit cards we found no published gambling block, so ask the bank if that is the card you use. Up Bank is the one bank in our list where we found no gambling block described on its own website, so we marked every cell for it as not published rather than guess. If you bank with Up, look through the card settings in the app or ask its support team directly.

Every bank on this list adds the same caveat: a block catches most gambling payments, not all of them, because it relies on how each merchant is registered. Treat it as a strong first line, and pair it with the limits Razed itself offers.

When a Bank Card Is Not the Right Route

A debit card suits most people who play at Razed, but not every situation. These are the cases where we would pick a different route, or no deposit at all for now.

You have a gambling block switched on

The block is doing the job you set it up for. Leave it in place and use the waiting period as intended, and if you want a break from Razed as well, its Take a Break and self-exclusion tools are covered in our guide to closing or pausing your account. Free, 24/7 support is also available from Gambling Help Online.

You want gambling money kept apart from everyday spending

Every card deposit and every withdrawal back to the card sits among your bills and groceries. Some players find it easier to stick to a budget when the amount set aside for play lives somewhere else, such as a separate crypto wallet topped up once a month with a fixed sum.

Your card has no name printed on it

Some cards, digital-only ones in particular, carry no cardholder name. That is not a dead end, but proof of payment then needs a PDF card statement or bank statement. Keep in mind that Razed does not accept neobank or digital bank documents as proof of address, so an app-only bank may need a second document from elsewhere.

You want withdrawals without a maximum

Card withdrawals follow the per-transaction limits shown in the cashier. Crypto withdrawals at Razed have no maximum, and only the network fee sets the minimum, which suits players who expect larger cash-outs. If you already hold coins, open the Razed cashier and compare the networks side by side before you send anything.

Whichever route you choose, set a loss limit or a wager limit in the Responsible Gambling part of your profile before the first deposit. Razed has no tool called a deposit limit, but a net loss limit per day, week or month covers the same ground, and lowering it applies straight away.

Razed Banking Questions, Answered

On 1 October 2026 we found published gambling blocks from CommBank, NAB, St.George, Bendigo Bank, Suncorp Bank, Bankwest and, for credit cards, Macquarie. Up Bank had no gambling block described on its own website, so check inside the app or ask its support team.

Yes. Apple Pay sits in the Razed cashier next to Visa and Mastercard cards and crypto. It pays with a card stored in your Apple Wallet, so that card's bank settings still apply.

Fiat withdrawals go back to the method you used to deposit, within the per-transaction limits shown in the cashier. Crypto withdrawals go to the wallet address you enter, and Razed sets no maximum on them.

A photo of the card showing your name, the expiry date and the first six and last four digits, with the CVC fully covered. If the card carries no name, upload a PDF card statement or bank statement instead. Our verification guide covers the full list.

Google Pay appears inside the buy-crypto widget in the cashier, where it pays for the coins you buy. It is not a separate card route for fiat withdrawals.

Razed has no tool called a deposit limit. It offers loss limits and wager limits per day, week or month, plus Take a Break and self-exclusion, all in the Responsible Gambling part of your profile.

Look at your banking app for a gambling block or other card control on that card, and confirm the card is a debit card in your own name. If a block is on, leave it in place and use the time to decide whether you want to deposit at all.

Pay In the Way That Suits Your Bank

Check your card settings, keep the same method for deposits and withdrawals, and set a loss limit before you play. Then head to the Razed cashier.
